Pies Over Cakes is a home-based pie bakery that sells its wares at farmers' markets in
the Richmond, VA area. Items include seasonal varieties of sweet and savory pies, as well as pie crusts.
Pies Over Cakes
uses organic whole wheat flour and organic non-hydrogenated palm oil shortening to make its pie crusts. We are vegetarian-friendly.
Gluten-free, vegan and low-glycemic options are available.
Email requests are accepted and encouraged.
Pies Over Cakes is committed to buying fresh, local produce for use in our pies (mainly from farmers at the
markets where we vend), to choosing organic whenever possible (organic flour, sugar and shortening in the crust), and encouraging
others to do the same!
